Here's why you shouldnt see this enchanted midcentury cabin in the woods. First of all, its not really in the woods, but it sure does feel like it when youre on the back deck overlooking the hills of Wildcat Canyon. From the front, the classic facade of a steep pitch roof is almost too picture perfect. It creates these vaulted ceilings, two stories tall, that are the worst. The large windows let in so much natural light, and the lines that frame the primary bedroom loft are way too symmetrical. Its 2023. Why would anyone want a luxury retro Big Chill range, brand new Smeg refrigerator and a free-standing gas fireplace in the living room? That's so midcentury. Not to mention, a new front deck and wrap around fence create coziness and privacy that not everyone wants. Speaking of decks, the side and back deck give too many options for sitting outside on a sunny day - shade under the trees in the back and lots of warm sunlight on the side. If you like to store all your belongings inside the house, please ignore the detached shed. Lastly, if you cant stand low maintenance landscaping, you should avoid the Open House on Sat 4/1 or Sun 4/2 from 2-4PM.
